Jacob Rueda, Founder and Editor

Jacob Rueda is a journalist, as well as the founder, editor, and currently the sole reporter for TheLine.Info. With a diverse background in writing for print and broadcast news, Jacob has honed his skills in storytelling and news production throughout his career. He has written for various local publications, including SLUG Magazine, Utah Business Magazine, Utah Stories Magazine, and The West View. His broadcast experience includes working at Utah stations KTVX ABC 4 as a digital content producer, KSL NewsRadio as a multimedia reporter, and KSTU FOX 13 as a producer.

Jacob graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of Utah, where he was recognized for his academic achievements and inducted into the Kappa Tau Alpha national honor society, highlighting his commitment to excellence in journalism.


Outside of journalism, Jacob enjoys music, food, and hiking. He believes that every story is a pathway to understanding, which is something he strives to bring to his writing.

Dr. Joseph Arrington, Operations Manager

Dr. Joseph Bart Venâncio Arrington is a healthcare professional, patented inventor, published scientist, and serial entrepreneur. Honored as one of Utah Business' Forty Under 40 in 2023, he is also board eligible as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Joseph holds an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration from Drexel University, an MBA from Westminster University, a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah, and an Associate Degree from Ensign College. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Systems and Innovation Research at the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine, where he is a member and former captain of the wrestling team.

A former resident of Salt Lake City’s Westside, Joseph now lives in Tooele, Utah, with his wife, Krischa, and their eight children: Brianne, Madison, Dinah, Audrey, Adam, Declan, Myles, and Blake.
